Hope For Our Community

How difficult would it be to imagine not having a home to come back to at the end of a long day? Or a place to call your own? Or no place to cook a meal for your family? We understand that although some of us could not fully fathom these situations, there are many families in our community whose reality is just what we described above. It has been reported that “more than 4,000 men, women, and children experience homelessness in the Baltimore area on any given night.”

Insurance One Group believes this makes ending poverty and food insecurity a human rights issue. Both children and adults in our area are desperately struggling to overcome homelessness and hunger, and these generational cycles of poverty must be reversed. Our agency is concerned about these growing trends, and we hope to be a part of the resolution to end hunger in Montgomery County. Insurance One Group seeks to end homelessness.
